Information Sheet for guests

General Information

Please always drive down the grass, never uphill, to help us keep it in good condition. During the peak time please vacate your site by 10.30 am, to enable us to prepare the site for the next incoming camper.
Please use breathable groundsheets.

Accounts should be settled as soon as you have sorted out your site, please come to the reception for your membership card and gate number.

There is a pay phone in the small conservatory open until 10.00pm.
The showers, hair dryer and iron take 20p coins only.
The washing machine and tumble dryer take £1.00 coins.
All waste should be deposited in the Waste Container by the front gates.
The Chemical toilet is on the right of the toilet/shower block--PLEASE DO NOT PUT IN WASTE WATER.
Barbecues are permitted, but please keep them off the grass.  If you require something to put it on, please ask at the reception.
In the event of a fire go to the nearest fire box situated around the site~ open the box this activates the fire alarm.
Notify Bob and Kathy up at Reception. If necessary dial 999.

The swimming pool

The outdoor pool is heated and is opened at 8am.  The pool may be used when the cover is over it (unless there is a sign saying pool closed) however, we ask that when you have finished swimming you replace the cover. No diving or jumping in the pool please as it is only 4ft deep.  No clothing to be worn in the pool.

Health and Safety Regulations dictate that all children 12 years and under must be supervised by an adult at all time whilst in the pool and pool area.

IN AN EMERGENCY  First take the person out of the water and sound the alarm. Start resuscitation and send someone to find either Bob or Kathy.  If necessary dial 999.

Leisure Area-Sauna, Jacuzzi and Sun Bed

The Jacuzzi seats five adults and is operated by a token.  These tokens are available from the Reception and cost £2.00.  A token lasts 15 minutes.  Please do not sit in the Jacuzzi unless you are using it.

The Sauna is open from 7.30pm-10.30pm daily and a band can be purchased from the Reception for £2.00 per person for the session.  This band must be returned to Reception after the session.

The sun bed is situated in the leisure area and is a fully equipped commercial solarium.  £3.00 per 20 minute session.

Please note that children 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The Bar and Bistro

The bar will be open from 7.00pm-11.0pm
Food will be available from 7.00pm-9.00pm

We have a non smoking policy in the Bar/bistro and leisure area.

Recreation
Numbers permitting there will be a boules tournament on the front driveway most Wednesdays 11.00am with hot pasties delivered at 1.00pm. place your orders on the list in the Laundry Room

Please keep your eyes on the notice board by the toilet-shower block for information on all forthcoming events.

Site Shop
Our small shop opens at 9.00am every morning and again at 5.00pm.
We sell a selection of groceries, milk, eggs, bacon, bread, butter, breakfast cereals plus a range of packet and tinned foods and of course ice-creams.
Calor gas is also available.
Newspapers can be ordered from the shop in the morning for the following day.
Southleigh T-shirts and postcards (plus stamps) are also available.
We ring a bell when the shop opens and closes just to help as a reminder (people sometimes lose track of the time at Southleigh)!
